Ceramic Sculpture

Post here examples of wheel thrown pieces that are also sculptural. You will be making a ceramic pieces that combines wheel throwing and sculpture. Post one example with a description of what you like about it by May 2nd.

Culture: Etruscan Civilization (1200 BC–550 BC)
Piece Title: Amphora
Collection: Italian/European Art
Design: There is a black figure riding a horse that's the center of the piece. Must have been used by some type of ancient warrior because of the warrior type of design.
Description: From Necropolis of Palazzone
Why I like it: Looked like a very old piece. It looks like the ceramic pot was in pieces at first, then reassembled by archeologists.
