Ceramic Sculpture

Post here examples of wheel thrown pieces that are also sculptural. You will be making a ceramic pieces that combines wheel throwing and sculpture. Post one example with a description of what you like about it by May 2nd.

Title: Volute Krater
4th Century BC
I chose this piece because of the interesting shape and the amount of detail in the illustrations. I also like that the illustrations actually tell a story.
